On Monday 30th September, year 4 visited Chatham Dockyard as part of their history learning about our local area. During the visit the children went on ‘The Ocelot’ (a Cold War Submarine) and ‘HMS Cavalier’ (a WW2 destroyer). The children also experienced the ropery and saw the workings of the rope room. TheĀ day ended with the children making their own rockets and firing them at an enemy ship! Year 4 had a fantastic day and have enjoyed discussing their learning back at school.
