>> PSHE
Our PSHE programme promotes children’s personal, social and economic development, as well as their health and wellbeing. It helps to give children the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens.
Pupils are supported to be active learners who can express themselves and accept difference in their community and the wider world. Celebration of difference as well as personal achievements, promotes a culture of equality in our school. Promoting citizenship through PSHE enables children to make a positive contribution by developing the knowledge and experience needed to claim their rights and understand their responsibilities.
