As part of our grand finale for the Griffin Literacy Festival, today, all classes at Kingfisher enjoyed a special visit to our pop-up Usborne book fair.
To kick off the day, Mr. White gathered everyone together for a captivating story time. The children were enthralled as he read aloud, filling the room with excitement and sparking our imaginations. Afterward, classes had the chance to explore the fantastic selection of books on display from the Usborne collection.
The children were excited to discover new books, some even created a wish list of their favourites. Many children visited the fair again after school with their parents to purchase books from their lists.
At Kingfisher Primary, we are passionate about fostering a love of reading, and this book fair was the perfect way to round off the Griffin Literacy Festival. Thank you to everyone who made the day such a success ā we canāt wait for next year!
