Year 1 Explore the Life of Neil Armstrong with One Day Creative!

At Kingfisher Primary, our Year 1 students were treated to an exciting visit from One Day Creative, a specialist educational workshop provider. The focus of the day was on the theme of Explorers, and the children had a fantastic time learning through a range of interactive activities.

The session took them on a journey through the life of one of the world’s most famous explorers, Neil Armstrong. They discovered fascinating facts about his early life, his family, and his groundbreaking achievements as the first person to walk on the moon. The hands-on experience helped students understand what it takes to be an explorer and left them inspired by Armstrong’s incredible legacy.

It was a day full of curiosity, discovery, and fun, sparking the imaginations of our future explorers!
