This week, Year 4 students had the incredible opportunity to visit the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend, a significant place of worship for Sikhs. The children were awestruck by the beauty of the ornate building, which made a lasting impression on everyone.
As a mark of respect, the students covered their heads before entering the temple and were warmly welcomed by the community. They were even offered food, a symbol of the Sikh belief that everyone is welcome, regardless of background.
