By 7 December 2023March 14th, 2024No Comments

A symphony of voices filled the historic halls of St Giles-without-Cripplegate Church in the Barbican complex in London, as Kingfisher students joined the Griffin Children’s Chorus’ Celebration of Carols. This prestigious event showcased the talent and dedication of young choristers from twelve schools across the Griffin Schools Trust (GST).

The event was led by GST Director of Music, Lewis Delivett, and the choir was accompanied by a brass band from Nicholas Chamberlaine School.

There was a captivating programme featuring works by esteemed composers such as Benjamin Britten, Jonathan Dove, Joanna Lee, and Franz Gruber. From timeless classics to contemporary compositions, each piece resonated with the spirit of the season, filling the air with joy and reverence.

The success of the show was a testament to the students’ hard work and dedication. Our students spent weeks rehearsing and refining their performances, ensuring they were ready to shine on the grand stage.

Congratulations to all who took part!
